Standard bangle

A standard bangle with a smooth surface and bevelled edges, the bracelet has a circumference of 60x50 cm, 5mm in width and 2mm in thickness. The bracelet is 100% 925 Sterling Silver and weighs 13.5g.

925 Sterling Silver, also known as pure silver, is an alloy consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. The number 925 comes from its content of pure silver in parts per thousand, which means that out of 1000 parts, 925 parts are pure silver.

The addition of other metals is done to increase the durability and hardness of silver, as pure silver itself is soft and difficult to shape into lasting jewelry and objects. Sterling silver is well known for its luster and value and is often used in jewelry, silverware, and other decorative items. The "925" or "Sterling" marking on an item confirms its authenticity as sterling silver.
